J R Carary, of Crary Brothers, dealers in hardware, stoves and farm machinery, Boone was born in Pierpont, St. Lawrence county, New York in 1837, and was raised there until 1857, and then removed to Chicago, Illinois, and remained there ten years, in 1867 he came to Boone, and in company with his brother, established their present business, in which they have been very successful, and the firm has the reputation of being enterprising and honorable; Mr Caray was married in 1867 to Miss Jessie West, of Livington county, New York, they have a family of two childre: Bessie and Archie
