F A Bolt, dealer in books, stationery, wall papers and notions, Boone; born in Knowlesville, Orleans county, New York, on the 15th day of Nov 1848; when eleven years of age he removed to Iowa; he learned the printer's trade and worked nine years in Marshalltown and four years at Waterloo; he came to this county in 1876 and established his present business; he married Miss Ellen Thomas in 1874; she was born in Illinois; they have two children: Chalres A and Carrie
