John Kelly, steward of county farm, P O Boone, was born in Kentucky in the year 1823, and was taken to Indiana by his parents when quite young, he was raised there at farming as an occupation, and came to this county in 1855, and always resided in this township, since he took charge of the county farm he has given the best of satisfaction, and seems especially adapted tot eh calling, he was married in Indiana, in 1845, to Miss N Case of Kentucky, they have by this union a family of four children living: Marcus L, Lorenzo D, Anzy J and Jennie
