Frank Nelson, farmer and stock raiser, Sec 5, P O Cassady’s Corner, was born October 24, 1842, in Sweden, and was educated in the schools of this commonwealth, he emigrated to America in May 1862, landing in Quebec, and from there came tot his county, here he has since resided, and now owns a fine farm of 160 acres well improved and nicely fenced, in the late war he enlisted in company I, Thirty-third Iowa, and remained in the service until the close of the war, when he was honorably discharged, he was married in this county, may 8, 1870, to Miss Louise Nelson, they have two children: Frank S M (born March 2, 1872), and John F S (born June 8, 1872)
