Alfred Lumblad, farmer and stock raiser, Sec 17, P O Pilot Mound, was born in Sweden, August 6, 1845, he emigrated to America in 1857, landing in Boston June 3 of that year, the following August he came to this county, where he still resides, owning a fine farm of 120 acres, all under fence, his farm is beautifully located and has upon it a fine residence, he was married in this township, December 17, 1873, to Miss Sophia Isackson, a native of Sweden, she was born June 24, 1845, and was educated in the common schools, they have three children: Anna M (born September 7, 1874), Nellie (born May 16,1876, and Esther J (born January 25, 1879)
