Gustaf A Johnson, farmer, Sec 4, P O Dayton, was born in 1839 in Sweden and lived there on a farm until 1862, in August of that year he landed in this country, first settling in Henry county, Illinois, and reside there until 1869, he then moved to where he now lives, owning 240 acres of land, was married in Sweden in 1861 to Miss Hannah C Lawson, born in 1840, they have six children: Lilda (born in 1862), Frank A (born December 8, 1865), Varner (born August 1, 1868), Gustaf A (born May 29, 1870), Sanford (born February 29, 1876), and an infant (born February 13, 1880)
