Henry Biermann, farmer, Sec 4, P O Dayton, was born in Germany March 24, 1839, and was raised a farmer, received his education there, and at the age of twenty-five came to the United States, first settling in Marseillies, La Salle county, Illinois, in 1864, he worked on the rock Island railroad for nearly five years, and then cam to Webster county, this state, and lived near Dayton for five years more, in the fall of 1873 he came to this place on which he lives, and has since resided here, owns 80 acres of land, was married in 1864, to Sophia Limm, a native of Germany, born May 27, 1846, they have three children: Henry A, Emma and William, lost one: Caroline (who was burned to death November 5, 1870, cause, clothes ignited from an over heated stove) Mr Biermann is now serving his third term as justice of the peace, is a member of the A O U W, Boone Lodge, No 120 and is of Lutheran faith
