William Blunk, farmer an stock-raiser, Sec 1, P O Zenorsville, was born in Indiana June 24, 1821, at the age of eleven he commenced school and continued same till he was twenty years of age, in 1844 he commenced the shoemakers trade and continued the same till 1856, when he emigrated to Boone county, Iowa where he bought a fine farm, his farm consists of 380 acres mostly under cultivation and nicely fenced, he was married in Indiana, January 2, 1844, to Miss Catharine Arnold, by this union the have five children: Salona (born August 31, 1847), Mary (born march 5, 1852), Rosella (born July 27, 1854), Drusilla (born December 5, 1857), living: Elizabeth (born January 28, 1850, died June 24, 1855)
