Joseph Quick, farmer and stock-raiser, Sec 2, P O Ontario, was born in Kent county, Canada, April 29, 1829, and in 1849 moved from there, coming to Clinton county, Iowa, where he followed farming in 1854 he came to this county and in 1872 settled where he now resides, owning 94 acres of land, he was married to Miss North, a native of Lawrence county, Pennsylvania, they have three children: Mary S, Carrie A, and Jeraldine D
