George H Browne, farmer, Sec 7, P O Ogden, was born in Utica, New York, in 1851, and came there in 1870, in the autumn of 1872 he went to Texas and returned to this place in 1877, he was educated in the schools of Des Moines and graduated from the high school of that city, he also attended Bryant and Stratton’s business college at Chicago and received a diploma at that institution, November 28, 1871 he married Miss Nellie M Gates, of this county, they have two daughters: Hattie and Bessie, Mr Browne owns a farm of 320 acres of which 210 are cultivated
