Mrs. Katherine Lindner, 87, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Weiden, in Raymond, Monday of a heart attack.
Born March 7, 1860, in Germany, the daughter of Bernard and Appolonia Stiren, she came to the United States in 1884. She married Casper Lindner at Pekin, IL, in 1885. They came to Iowa in 1902 and settled in Black Hawk County near Raymond. She has lived in that vicinity since.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Weiden, of Raymond, Mrs. C. J. Mahon, of Dunkerton, three sons, Bernard and Daniel of Wilmington, Calif., and William of Des Moines; 23 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren. Preceding her were her husband in 1937 and a son, Matt, in 1943.
Funeral rites were conducted this Thursday morning at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Raymond at 9 o'clock. Burial at Raymond.
