Waterloo Courier 18 Oct. 1933
Funeral services for George Pint, 67, lifelong resident of Black Hawk County, who died Tuesday at 3 p.m. at his farm home in Poyner Township of heart disease, will be Friday at 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Gilbertville, with Rev. Fr. William Cremer, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Pint, son of Leonard and Mary Pint, was born Feb. 6, 1866. He married Mary Gilley (paper made an error, as Mary Gilley was his mother's name, he married Susan Demuth) about 40 years ago. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and of the Holy Name Society of that church. Mrs. Pint died Nov. 23, 1911.
Surviving are two sisters (this should have said "daughters" not sisters), Mrs. John Reuter, Mason City, and Sister Mary Scholastica, Spring Brook, IA; one son, Joseph Pint, Poyner Township; four brothers, Jacob, 32 Franklin Street; William, 324 Seventh Street West; Philip, Jesup, IA, and Mathias, St. Paul, Minn., and two sisters, Mrs. Kascht, 321 Randolph Street, and Mrs. John Gales, 312 Lafayette Street, both of Waterloo.
The body is at the home in Poyner township.
