Peter Meisch Dead

Pioneer Resident of Spring Creek Dies Sunday Morning
Mr. Peter Meisch, of Spring Creek Twp., passed away Sunday morning at 2 o'clock after an illness of several months.
The deceased was a native of Belgium. He was born on April 6, 1842. He came to America in 1865 and settled in the state of New York. He married in Buffalo, and came west soon afterwards, settling in Iowa. He made this state his home for more than 20 years.
He is survived by his wife and seven children, two of whom reside at home.
His last illness dates back to an accident suffered about 5 years ago when a heavily loaded wagon passed over his body.
Funeral services were held at 10 o'clock this forenoon at Gilbertville.
