Henry Lauzon Is Buried in West View Tuesday
The body of Henry Lauzon, of Waterloo was brought to La Porte City for burial in West View cemetery Tuesday afternoon, following funeral services held in Waterloo, at the O’Keefe and Towne funeral home. Rev. A.M. Yaggy, retired Evangelical United Brethren pastor of Cedar Falls, conducted the services.
Mr. Lauzon died at St. Francis Hospital Saturday after an operation for appendicitis. He had previously been bedfast with complications for 15 months.
He was born 64 years ago in Michigan and lived for a time in South Dakota. His home had been in Waterloo for about 25 years. Dec. 21, 1909, he was married in Miller, S. Dak. to Miss Jesse Clarke of La Porte City, who survives, as do two sons, Henry, Jr., and Allen of Waterloo, five grandchildren, two brothers, and two sisters.
