Alfred Pett, born in England and a resident of Waterloo since 1883, fell on the icy walk in front of his home and died at a hospital from the effect of a fracture of the skull. He was a gardener.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Dec. 9, 1851 and died Jan 20, 1915. He is buried in Elmwood Cemetery.
