Funeral services for Mrs. Elvie Landon, 66, of 514 Longfellow Ave will be at 1:30 p. m. Wednesday at the Congregational Church in Clarion.

The Rev. Orlan Mitchell, pastor of the church, will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion.

Mrs. Landon died at 11 a. m. Monday at her home of a heart attack. She was born Alice Hamer on Nov. 25, 1893, in Eagle Grove, the daughter of Thomas and Margaret Jones Hamer.

She was married to Elvie Landon on Nov. 25, 1914, at Clarion. After their marriage they lived near Belmond and Janesville and then came to Waterloo in 1916.

Mrs, Landon was a member of the Congregational Church of Clarion.

She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Harold Thompson, 1521 Liberty Ave.; and by four sisters: Mrs. Margaret Fischer and Mrs, Joe Maiers, both of Eagle Grove; Mrs. Eva Keppers, and Mrs. Joe Tallman, both of Clarion. Also surviving are one brother, Harvey Hamer, of Woolstock, and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, one brother, and three sisters. Friends may call at the Parrott and Wood funeral home until 9 a. m. Wednesday.
