Luis E. Flores, 50, of Waterloo, died Monday, August 17, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

He was born November 29, 1969, in Mexico City, Mexico. He married Dora Chapa Granados June 30, 2000, in Mexico.

Luis was employed as a machinist with A-Line EDS.

He is survived by his wife, Dora of Waterloo; two sons, Luis and Alberto Flores, both of Waterloo; a brother, Arturo Oria of Mexico City, Mexico and sister, Luz Maria Oria, of Mexico City, Mexico.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Jorge Oria.

A memorial service will be 11:30 a.m. Friday, August 28, at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway with inurnment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour before the service at the funeral home.
