James “Jim” LeRoy Knock, 68, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at his home of natural causes.

He was born November 6, 1951 in Waterloo, the son of Fred & Emma (Juhl) Knock. James married Cindy Krusemark and later Carol Eckoff. He served in the U.S. Army from 1970 to 1972. James ran a CNC machine, was a Union Steward and Voluntary Firefighter at John Deere.

Survivors include two sons, Jon (Jody) Knock of Oelwein and Alan Knock of Allison; nine grandchildren; one brother, Larry Dean Knock of Cedar Falls; three sisters, Marlene Helen (Charlie) Brown and Frances Kay Page, both of Waterloo and Judy Joyce Stuber of Minnesota; and his special friend G. G.

James was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters, Phyllis Jean Zeiner, Linda Lou Riter, Sandra Jane Webb and Carol Ann Moore.
