J. H. Cummins of Cedar Falls, aged 79 years, was fatally injured and died in ten minutes when his horse plunged at a passing automobile and the end of the thill penetrated his heart.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Aug. 24, 1834 and died August 16. 1913. He is buried in Greenwood Cemetery.
