Services
Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 15, 2020 at Kearns Funeral Service Kimball Chapel

A video of the service will be posted to the website shortly after services.

Visitation
Family will receive friends one hour before the service.
Cemetery
Inurnment will be held in the Garden of Memories Cemetery with Graveside Military Rites conducted by the Waterloo AMVETS Post #19, Evansdale AMVETS Post #31 and the Iowa National Guard Honor Detail.
Memorials

Biography

Dale R. Watters, 96, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at his home. He was born May 25, 1924 in Black Hawk County the son of Raleigh and Agnes Faulkner Watters. He attended Hudson High School. He married Agnes Rose on April 5, 1947 in Kirksville, MO; she preceded him in death in December of 1984. He married Donna Ann Rose (Rubino) on December 28, 1986 in Waterloo; she preceded him in death on May 4, 2013.

He worked for Rath Packing Company for 36 years, retiring in 1985. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII.

Dale was a former member of Grace Methodist Church in Waterloo. He played basketball at Hudson High School and was on the 1955 Rath State Softball Team.

Survived by: six stepsons, Jack Tharp of Beloit, WI, Jerry Tharp of Grinnell, Frank (Elaine) Rubino of Waterloo, Rick Rubino of Richardson, TX, Garry (Marilyn) Rubino of Mead, OK, Dino (Dawn) Rubino of Waterloo; one step daughters, LuAnn (Mike) Diers of Kyle, TX; many step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: his parents; his two wives, Agnes and Donna; one step daughter, Diana Rubino; one step daughter-in-law, Fredricka Tharp; two sisters, Ethel Aschenbrenner, Ruth Oliphant and four brothers, Gordon, Elvin “Bud”, Pete and Wilber in infancy.
