Dennis J. Mummelthie, 63, of Waterloo, died on April 26, 2020 at UnityPoint Allen Hospital.

He was born on February 25, 1957 in Waterloo; the son of Loren Mummelthie and Minnie Caldwell Bean.

He graduated from Waterloo East High School. Dennis enjoyed collecting toy tractors, coins, and other collectibles.

Dennis is survived by his significant other of over 30 years, Shirley Tangen of Waterloo; a sister, Sheila (Shane) Williams of Evansdale; three brothers, Bruce Mummelthie of Evansdale, Steve (Linda) Mummelthie of Elk Run Heights, and Allen Mummelthie of Waterloo; a step-brother, Troy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, maternal and paternal grandparents; and uncle and aunt.
