Bruce Vogt

Bruce Vogt, 56, of Waterloo, Iowa, formerly of Humboldt, Iowa, passed away on April 17, 2020, at Pillar of Cedar Valley in Care Initiative Hospice Care, of a lengthy illness.

Bruce was born on June 18, 1963, to Floyd and Lucille Vogt in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He attended school in Humboldt and lived in Waterloo since 1983 in his apartment until November 2018. He entered Pillar in February of 2019

Bruce is survived by his mother; Lucy Thorsen of Humboldt, sister; Valerie (Craig) Bravender and brother; Jeffrey Vogt, both of Waterloo. He is also survived by his step siblings; Douglas Thorson (Rita) of Surprise, AZ; Tammi Sesker (Bill) of Ogden; and Teri Myers of Eagle Grove, as well as his best friend; Rocky Moore of Humboldt and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his father; Floyd Vogt, his step father; Blaine Thorson, sister; Shawn Taxton and brother-in-law; Dan Myers. Services will be held at a later date.
