Biography

Beverly J. Campbell, 93, of Waterloo, died on Monday, March 23, 2020 at Lakeview Lodge of Friendship Village.

She was born on June 17, 1926 in Waterloo, daughter of Freeman and Velma (Hickle) Moser. She graduated from Waterloo West High with the class of 1944.

Beverly worked as a waitress at Freeman's Cafe for 30 years.

Beverly married Wendle G. Campbell on September 8, 1946 at Grace Brethren Church in Waterloo; he preceded her in death on September 7, 2001. She attended Walnut Ridge Baptist Church.

Survived by daughter, Sue Stewart, and son, Tim Campbell both of Duluth‚ MN; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two nieces, Jill Mathey of Cedar Rapids and Janice Crespi of Dallas‚ TX; nephew, Freeman Moser III of Cedar Rapids; and several great nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wendle Campbell; a Daughter Camille Campbell; brother, Freeman Moser II; and sister, LaVae Moser.
