Juliana was a graduate of New the Hartford Consolidated Schools with the Class of 1955 and attended Gates Business College. On August 16, 1958, she was united in marriage to Gene Howard Snyder at Zion Lutheran Church in Waterloo. Juliana was a wonderful wife, homemaker and mother to their children, Kimberly and Kelly.

Juliana was an immaculate housekeeper and decorator who, especially, loved setting a beautiful table for the holidays. She and her cousin, Amanda, made and sold crafts (chicken door stoppers and pantyhose pigs and potatoes). Juliana had a huge flower garden and beautifully landscaped yard which she meticulously mowed and trimmed each week during warm weather.
She was a very social person who never met a stranger and considered everybody to be a friend. Juliana loved eating out, especially at McDonalds and having ice cream and pumpkin pie with Cool Whip. She was an avid antique shopper and auction attendee.
On January 6, 1960, her life changed forever when she accepted Isaiah 44:22 (I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.) She would say, “I am going to heaven for sure. How can it be any plainer?” Juliana was in happy fellowship at the Gospel Hall in Stout Iowa for 40 years until health prevented her from attending.
