Patricia "Pat" Marie Cummings Jones

February 9, 1954 - February 4, 2020

Evansdale, Iowa – Patricia “Pat” Marie Cummings Jones of Evansdale, died February 4, 2020 at UnityPoint Health Allen Memorial.

She was born February 9, 1954 in New Hampton, the daughter of Bernard “Curly” and Rita (Elenz) Cummings. Pat graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1972. She worked at her mother’s restaurant, Red’s Diner, at the Jesse Cosby Center, Salvation Army and was a telemarketer with APAC.

She was a member of Evansdale AMVETS and a devoted member at Community Baptist Church. Pat loved her family dearly.

Pat is survived by her mother Rita Cummings of Waterloo, Iowa, two sons, Patrick “Toby” (Robyn) Cummings of Center Point, Iowa, and Christopher Cummings of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, a daughter Janice (DeWaynne) Campbell of Waterloo, Iowa, six grandchildren, Luis Caballero, Xzavier Cummings, Brittany Barber, Marcus Widmann, Mackenzie Cummings and Dawson Jahlas, four great-grandchildren, five brothers, Randall “Randy” Cummings of Waterloo, Iowa, Timothy “Tim” Cummings of Waterloo, Iowa, James “Jim” Cummings of Nichols, Iowa, Kenneth “Kenny” (Sheryl) Cummings of Waterloo, Iowa and Ronald “Ronnie” Cummings of Waterloo, Iowa, three sisters, Lois Cummings of Northfield, Minn., Mary Cummings Faulkner of Evansdale, Iowa and Karen Cole of Waterloo, Iowa, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Pat is preceded in death by her father, Bernard “Curly” Cummings, a brother Bernard “Butch” Cummings and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Visitation will be Monday, February 10, 2020 from 10:00 am until service time at Hagarty Waychoff Grarup Funeral Service, 400 South St., Waterloo, Iowa.
