Passing of a Newspaper Man.
The Waterloo Reporter of last Saturday gives this intelligence:—
W. D. Hartman, secretary of the W. H. Hartman Co., and associated with his brother, J. C., in the management of the Waterloo Daily Courier, died this morning at 7:27, after a long illness, the cause of death being Addison’s disease. The fatal character of Mr. Hartman's malady has been recognized for some time and several times during the past month it has been thought that the end was near. Although his friends have thus in a manner been prepared for it, his death none the less brings great grief to the sorrowing family and deep regret to a wide circle of acquaintances. Deceased was 39 years old last February.
