Duane H. Meyerhoff, 80, of Waterloo, Iowa, died Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at Denver Sunset Nursing Home in Denver, Iowa.

He was born August 26, 1939, in Readlyn, Iowa, the son of Herbert C. and Martha Hein Meyerhoff.

Duane graduated from Dunkerton HS in 1957. He married Eleanor Burrows October 1, 1961 at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Readlyn.

He was a farmer for 57 years working for Grady Farms, Monsanto, Wolfe Seed Corn Picking, and Miller Time Farms.

Duane was a long-time member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and participated as an usher, was on various boards, Men's Bible Study, choir, Young Couples, and Sunday School Superintendent.

Duane is survived by his wife of Waterloo; two daughters, Michelle (David) Kempf of Ramsey‚ MN, and Marsha Meyerhoff of Waterloo; three granddaughters, Rachel, Anna, and Grace Kempf; nephew, Rob (Paula) Meyerhoff; and niece, Sandy Mossberg.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Marty Meyerhoff.

January 27, 2020, at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 810 Kimball Ave., Waterloo, Iowa

Cemetery:
Private family inurnment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery at a later date.
