Ramona G. Bellows, 78, of Waterloo, IA, went to be with our Lord January 9, 2020, after health complications and a short stay with Hospice at Allen Memorial Hospital.

Ramona was born March 5, 1941, the oldest of six siblings: her identical twin, Katy Reed of Waterloo, Martin (Pat) Barta of Cedar Falls, IA, Brian (Gayle) Barta of Rapid River‚ MI, Bruce (Suzanne) Landsverk of Dacula‚ GA, and Diane (Scott) Sickau of Boone, IA.

She attended St. John’s and Our Lady of Victory School Academy. Ramona was united in marriage to Beau J. Bellows at Calvary Bible Church in Washburn, IA on September 13, 1958. They had five children: Brenda (Denny) Hrubes of Britt, IA, Dave (Pamela) Bellows of Parkersburg, IA, Dan (Lisa) Bellows of Forest Lake‚ MN, Matthew (Stacy) Bellows of Cambridge‚ MN, and Jim (Andrea) Bellows of Parkersburg; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild, Lincoln.

Ramona was not only a loving and protective mother to her children, grandchildren, and family and friends, as she along with husband Beau, opened their hearts and home to anyone in need.

Ramona and her twin, Katy, had a special soulmate bond and were known as Kay & Rose, The Twins, one of Waterloo’s Icons. Their children always said, “they were blessed with two mothers.”

Ramona and Beau attended Harvest Vineyard Church. One of her delights was baking cookies, cakes, and other sweets with her twin Katy for church events.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and the special star in her heart her grandson, Dave "Little D" Bellows.
