Marvel Louise Bakke

Marvel Louise (Smith) Bakke was born on December 26, 1934, in Waterloo, daughter of Olaf and Hulda Smith. On June 14, 1957, Marvel was united in marriage to Wallace Bakke. After marriage Marvel stayed home and raised their four beautiful daughters. Marvel enjoyed bingo, dancing, reading, playing cards, and spending time with her family.

Marvel Bakke died on November 26, 2019 at Deery Suites at age 84.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Vayland; sisters, Berdella, Wynona, Ramona,Leota, and Verona.

Marvel is survived by her daughters, Jodi (Mike) Wilson, Patty (Bob) Lang, Connie (Mike) Ware, Debra Bakke; grandchildren, Tisha Williams, David Orthaus; great-grandchildren, Taylor Williams, Lexie Williams, Madison Williams; brother, Virgil Smith; and several nieces and nephews, with a heartfelt thank you to her nieces Etta and Cena for taking such loving care of her throughout the years.
