Dorothy Henson
Dorothy Ann Henson, 81, of Evansdale, Iowa, passed away at Cedar Valley Hospice, in Waterloo, Iowa, on Saturday, November 23, 2019.
Dorothy was born April 18, 1938, to Carl and Bessie Hemseth. She was a strong woman who raised five children. Over the years, she held many jobs until retiring and enjoying spending time with her family.
She loved clowns, music, and flowers, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Raymond and Charles; and sister Margie.
She is survived by her sister Vera; sons Randy (Deb) Henson of Hudson, John (Michelle) Henson of LaPorte, and Tony (Tiff) Henson of Waterloo; daughters Kathryn (Dan) O’Hara of Waverly and Karen (Kim) Hoofnalge of Oelwein; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
