Mrs. August Eppling who resides about two and one half miles from Waterloo on the Independence road, died last evening after a long illness. Agnricke Timmerman was born in Suchwik, Germany, Aug 23, 1859, coming to this country many years ago. In Cook county, Illinois she was married to August Eppling and they came to Iowa, settling in Fox township.

Besides the husband, six children are left, August, Mrs. Bertha Billick of this city, Eliza, Louis, Emil and Malinda. A brother, F. Timmerman also resides in the country.

The deceased was a faithful member of the Lutheran Evangelical church.

The funeral arrangements have not been completed but may be held Thursday.
