Biography--
Norma L. Wyatt, 99, of Lake City, Minnesota, and formerly of Waterloo, Iowa, died on Friday, October 4, 2019, at The Bluffs of Lake City in Lake City, Minnesota.
Norma was born on February 20, 1920 in Greene, Iowa, the daughter of George and Leah (Sullivan) Huff. She graduated from Northern University (Price Lab) High School with the class of 1937.
Norma was always a homemaker, but also had worked as a camera operator for Phototype America. She would also spend time tinting black and white photos for Hawkeye Photo.
Norma married 2nd Lieutenant, United States Army Air Corps, Andrew J. "Andy" Wyatt, on May 7, 1945 in San Antonio, Texas; he died May 31, 1985.
She had been a member of Central Christian Church. She was also a member of the Caper Cutters Square Dancing Club and sang with the Sweet Adelines. In her spare time, she would sew or crochet kitchen scrubbers that she would donate to sell at the church annual bazaar. She absolutely loved her grandchildren.
Survived by her son, Bruce Wyatt of Seattle, Washington; daughter, Linda (Dan) Soteros of Lake City, Minnesota; three grandchildren, Andrew (Heather) Soteros of Lake City, Minnesota, Alexa (Jake) Bjornstad of Red Wing, Minnesota, and Charlie Soteros of Lake City, Minnesota; and four great-grandchildren, Addie, Taytum, Lennon, and Indie.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Andrew; and brother, Warren Huff.
