Biography

Maurice Moore, 91, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, died at the Western Home Communities Sunday, August 25, 2019.

He was born December 25, 1927, in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Ralph S. and Della Jones Moore.

He graduated from Orange High School in 1946 and attended McPherson College, McPherson, KS.

He married Doris L. Correll August 6, 1950, in Buckeye, KS; she died November 11, 2016.

Mr. Moore farmed in Orange, Black Hawk, and Eagle Townships. He was a member and past chairman of the stewardship commission of South Waterloo Church of the Brethren. He was a Farm Bureau member.

Survived by: daughter, Barbara (Kenneth) Drewes‚ Des Moines; son, Rodney (Glenda) Moore‚ Lincoln‚ NE; son, David (Rhonda) Moore‚ McPherson‚ KS; son, Donald (Marilyn) Moore‚ Waterloo‚ IA; daughter, Kathryn (Gregory) Miller Leach‚ Machesney Park‚ IL; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Doris; and son in law, Craig Mille.
