Rick A. Weber, 55, of Waterloo, died on Saturday August 24, 2019 at UnityPoint Health - Allen Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa.
He was born on January 23, 1964, in Waterloo, Iowa, to Allan Frank and Karen Kay (Kentzelman) Weber. He graduated from Arkadelphia High School in 1982 and then attended Henderson State University. He received his Eagle Scout in 1981 and was a current member of the Order of the Arrow, Honor Society of the Boy Scout.
Rick managed multiple restaurants including Dominos, Cracker Barrel, and Carlos O'Kellys. He was produce manager for Hy Vee for 13 years and was always an Ambassador for the Hy Vee Brand of Excellence.
Rick married Julie A. Ostrander on December 25, 2010. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, grilling, bowling, camping and most of all his Harley Davidson. He also loved to play with his grandchildren. Rick was an avid collector of Crown Royal and Coca Cola. He enjoyed playing games, especially Farkle and Bohemian Poker and the occasional scratch off ticket.
He is survived by his wife: Julie Weber of Waterloo. Two daughters: Kelly Weber of Henderson‚ MD and Kayla Weber of Cambridge‚ MD. His mother, Karen Weber of Cedar Falls, His step-children: Matt (Tricia) Olson of Farmington‚ MN and Molly (Erica) Olson of Ankeny‚ IA; Brother: Joe (Darla) Weber of Des Moines‚ IA. Sister: Kristine Weber of Cedar Falls‚ IA; Three grandchildren: Jacob, Nathan and Raelynn Olson
He is preceded in death by his dad, Allan Weber; brother in law, Michael Ostrander; and by a nephew, Cody Conrad.
