Jacoba Weber

Jacoba Jane Weber, 79, of LaPorte City, Iowa, died on August 15, 2019, at LaPorte Nursing Home.

She was born on October 4, 1939, in Denver, Iowa, to John and Tillie Jans Walters. She married Jerry Morrill, they were later divorced. She then married LaVerne Weber, Sr. on July 12, 1969, in Spring Valley, Minnesota.

Jane is survived by seven children: Mark Morrill, Dan (Carol) Weber, step-son Brandon (Robin) Weber, step-son Kevin (Melissa) Weber, LaVerne, Jr. (Michele) Weber, Leonard (Kathy) Weber; daughter Brenda Weber; daughter-in-law Dawn Weber; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Jane was a seamstress for over 29 1/2 years at Powers Manufacturing, where she was also president of the union for 6 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister Freida Hagenow; and step-son Scott Weber.

A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20th, 2019 at Parrott and Wood Chapel of Memories.
