Jesup, Iowa – Linda Ann Ruehle, 65 years old, of Jesup, died Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at UPH-Allen Hospital Waterloo, Iowa.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. - Monday, August 19, 2019, at Grace Lutheran Church, Jesup, with Pastor Jacob D. Swenson officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m., Sunday, August 18, 2019, at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA, where there will be a scripture service at 5:00 p.m. Visitation will continue for an hour before services Monday at the church. Memorials may be directed to Grace Lutheran Church, Jesup, IA or to the family. Burial will be 2:00 p.m. – Tuesday at Cedar Crest Cemetery, Jesup, IA.

Linda was born June 10, 1954, in Worthington, MN, the daughter of John William Nau and Jeneva Mae (Marsh) Nau. She attended school in Minnesota and graduated from high school in Brewster, MN. On July 17, 1971, she was united in marriage to Mark Donald Ruehle in Pipestone, MN. They have made their home in Jesup since 1992.

Linda worked as a day care provider and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Jesup where she was a Sunday school teacher and active in church organizations.

Linda is survived by her husband Mark D. Ruehle, Sr. of Jesup, IA; one daughter, Tracy Ruehle of Jesup, IA; two sons, Mark D. (Brooke) Ruehle, Jr. of Des Moines, IA, Matthew J. (Dana) Ruehle of Jesup, IA, 6 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; two sisters, Joyce Mormann of Adrian, MN, Loretta (Edward) Smith of Brewster, MN; five brothers: Phillip (Jan) Nau of Ocheyedan, IA, Francis Nau of Brewster, MN, Leonard (Sue) Nau of Worthington, MN, Douglas (Lori) Nau of Worthington, MN, Steven (Mark) Nau of Minneapolis, MN; also her mother in law, Ardyce (Arnold) Dodge of Spencer, IA.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Leo Nau and one sister, Kathy Davis.

White Funeral Home, Jesup, is in charge of arrangements.
