Suresh Moolji Sampat

Suresh Sampat was born in India on February 7, 1943. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from St. Joseph’s Engineering college, Mumbai, India. In 1970, he was united in marriage to Gita Purech. His passion was teaching and practicing Vipassana Meditation. He actively taught until the very end.

He passed away peacefully on Monday, July 1, 2019 at home at the age of 76 years.

Survived by: his son Parag; two grandchildren, Param and Tanaya; three brothers, Subhash, Vipin and Jayesh.

Preceded in death by: his parents, wife, and sister.
