Bartlett Stone, an aged citizen of Cedar Falls, was shot to death by his son-in-law, Charles Burns, last Monday evening. While he was shooting Burns' wife attacked her husband and pounded his head severely.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he is buried in Greenwood Cemetery in Cedar Falls and that he was born September 27, 1846 and died March 1, 1904.
