Charles “Chuck” Louis Rice

Charles Louis Rice was born December 13, 1949, in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, son of Richard and Inez (Hooser) Rice. He graduated from East Waterloo High in 1968. Chuck continued his education at Upper Iowa and graduated from there in 1993, with a bachelor degree in Business Management.

On October 4, 1969, Chuck was united in marriage to Diana Brickman at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Waterloo. Chuck and Diana had two beautiful daughters Pam and Michelle. Diana passed away on August 26, 2002.

In 2010, Chuck retired from Pepsi Cola after working there for 37 years. Chuck enjoyed planning family gathering, golfing, camping, playing cards, and handing out presents at Christmas time. He loved to ride his Harley and spending time with family and friends.

Chuck Rice passed away at Mercy One on June 8, 2019, at the age of 69.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; brother, Wayne Robert Rice; and mother-in-law, LaVon Brickman.

Chuck is survived by his significant other; Sharon Gibbons, Daughters; Pamela (Jason) Dugan, Michelle (Eric) Rice, brothers; Richard Rice Jr., Daniel (Kim) Rice, Sisters; Mary (Richard) Payton, Barbara (Shane) Kendrick, grandchildren; Charlie Dugan, Jack Dugan, Alex Rice, Abby Rice, father-in-law; Harry Brickman, brother-in-law; David(Cyndi) Brickman, a sister-in-law; Lori Rice, and numerous nieces and nephews.
