Biography
Karen L. Carroll age 66 of Waterloo, Iowa, died peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Friday June 7th, 2019.
She was born on January 8th, 1953, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Robert Bueter “Amos” Knapp and Dona Lavonne (Childs) Knapp.
She graduated from Waterloo West High School with the class of 1971.
Karen married Jim Carroll on November 15th, 1974 in Belvidere, Illinois.
She retired from Aramark Services in Waterloo and also worked for Rada Manufacturing in Waverly.
Survivors include: Her husband Jim Carroll of Waterloo; a Son Michael (Rebecca) Carroll of Woodbury MN; a daughter Tracy Carroll of Waterloo; two granddaughters Ryan and Logan; and a Brother Donald (Brenda) Knapp of Evansdale.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Karen enjoyed camping at the River and spending time with her granddaughters.
