Lured to Death by Thugs.
The mangled remains of Toby Dobbins of Waterloo were found upon the Great Western viaduct, near the station. His head was crushed, one foot was torn off and his limbs were lacerated. Foul play is suspected. It is thought he was lured to his death by robbers.

#2:Two Killed by Cars.
E. J. O’Connor was crushed while boarding a moving train at Waverly, and the scattered remains of T. D. Dobbins were discovered along the Chicago Great Western track in Waterloo. O’Connor was thirty years old, and leaves a wife and four small children.
