Biography--

Robert "Bob" L. Van Nevele, 76, of Waterloo, Iowa, died at UnityPoint Health—Allen Hospital, in Waterloo, on Tuesday, May 28, 2019.

He was born October 13, 1942, in Littleton, Iowa, the son of Andrew and Mary Boody Van Nevele.

Bob married Della Pearl Wright on October 19, 1963, in Minnesota; she died September 12, 2006. He retired from John Deere after 30 years.

Bob enjoyed his special time with friends, drinking coffee, and playing cards. He enjoyed a good history book and, he loved to travel especially to Belgium.

He is survived by sons: Curtis Wright‚ Waterloo, Paul Wright‚ Evansdale, Starrett (Marcia) Wright‚ Waterloo; a daughter, Angela (Ken) Porter‚ Waterloo; a brother, Alvin Van Nevele‚ Evansdale; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a brother, Charles Van Nevele; and a grandson, Troy Scroggins.
