Donald Ray Page

Donald Ray Page was born on May 18, 1931, Dows, Iowa, son of John and Emily (Hemenway) Page.

He graduated from Dows High School in 1948. Served in the Navy from 1949 to 1953.

Retired from John Deere in 1987 and served as President of the UAW during his time there.
Served on the Black Hawk Co Board of Supervisors from 1988-1991.

He married Darlene Preston in 1952 and later was divorced. In 1970, he was united in marriage to Frances Knock in Moline, Illinois.

Donald enjoyed golfing, fishing, spending time with his grandkids, gardening, politics and travel. He was a member of various clubs and organizations such as the UAW 838, Evansdale AMVETS Post 31, American Legion, Moose, Masonic Lodges, and Shriner.

Donald passed away from cancer at his home in Mesa, AZ on March 1.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jack Page and his son, Douglas Page.

Donald is survived by his wife Frances Page; children: Jeff Page, Pamela (Carl) Page, Lori (Larry) Olson, Patti (Jerry) Bemrich, Julie (Mike) Page-Ariza, Ricky Page; stepchildren: Victoria (Jim) Ellis, Carla (Mark) Bergmeier: Sister, Marilyn Curley; eight grandchildren, and eight great-children.

Memorials may be directed to Banner Hospice, Mesa, AZ.
