WATERLOO, IOWA - Jeanne L. Fister, 81, of Waterloo, died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2008, at her home.

She was born March 18, 1926, in Waverly, Iowa, the daughter of William and Leone McLaren Sentman. She married Robert Fister Sept. 28, 1952, in Waterloo.

She graduated from East High School in 1944 and had worked at the Waterloo Daily Courier and for the Waterloo Baseball Association.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Brad A. (Tish) of Batavia, Ill.; a daughter, Lesa Foss of LaPorte City; and a grandson, William Foss of LaPorte City.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at Memorial Chapel, Memorial Park Cemetery. Inurnment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Locke Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
