Jesup, Iowa – Sally June Wellman, 77 years old, of Jesup, died Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at the Cedar Valley Hospice House in Waterloo, Iowa.

She was born December 3, 1940, in Allison, Iowa, the daughter of John Weber and Marvel (Anderson) Weber. She graduated from Jesup High School with the class of 1959, and later attended Hawkeye Community College and became a certified pipe welder.

She worked at John Deere, Carnation and drove a school bus for Jesup Community Schools. Sally was a former member of the American Lutheran Church in Jesup.

Sally is survived by her husband, David Wellman of Jesup, IA; three sons: Don (Sherri) Wellman of Crestview, FL, Brad (Dawn) Wellman of St. Louis, MO, Vincent (Jeanne) Wellman of Jesup, IA; one daughter, Shani (John) Brumm of Mason City, IA; five grandchildren: Melissa (Kevin) Kunze, Daniel (Amanda) Wellman, Sara (Brian) Lashbrook, Trent (Stephanie) Wellman, Ashley (Rick) Uhlenhopp; nine great-grandchildren: Kyleigh, Julian, Jordan, Jared, Kruz, Isaac, Lyric, Ledger, and Drew; and one brother, Stan Weber of Knoxville, Iowa. She is preceded in death by her parents and one grandson Corey Wellman.

No public services are planned. Memorials may be directed to the family.
