Stevo Bijelic, 55 of Waterloo, Iowa, died Monday, June 11 at Covenant Medical Center.

He was born Sept. 17, 1962, in Virginmost, Croatia, son of Ljuban and Danica Rosic Bijelic. He married Ranka Kajganic on August 23, 1983 in Sjenicak, Croatia.

Stevo had worked at Tyson Fresh Meats, in production.

Survived by: his wife of Waterloo; a son, Svetozar (Ela Cepalovic) Bijelic of Cedar Falls; three daughters, Mirjana (Dennis Halverson) Bijelic of Waterloo, Ljubomirka (Todd Appenzeller) Bijelic of Cedar Falls and Nedjeljka Bijelic of Waterloo; five grandchildren, Vasilije, Aleksandra, Damir, Dennis and Teyla; his brother, Milan Bijelic of Serbia; his sister, Nedjeljka (Milorad) Kajganic of Serbia.

Preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 16 at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Public visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday, and continue for one hour before services at the funeral home.
