CEDAR FALLS, IOWA – Elaine M. Kelly, 82, of Cedar Falls died Sunday, June 10, 2018, at her home.

She was born in 1936 in Cushing, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph H. and Cleola M. (Kehoe) Schreurs. She married Louis Kelly on October 24, 1981 in Cedar Falls. He preceded her in death on May 17, 2003.

She graduated from Cushing High School and attended college for two years. She was a homemaker throughout her adult life.

Survived by: two sons, Steve (Kim) Courtnage of Irwin, PA, and Shawn Courtnage of Waterloo; two daughters, Kelly (Mark) Gregerson of Waterloo and Kara Schmitt of Cedar Falls; two step sons, Robert Kelly of Easley, SC, and Louis Kelly, Jr of Decatur, GA; six grandchildren: Steven Courtnage, Jr, Tyler Courtnage, Keri Courtnage, Kaylin (Mike) Dornbusch, Corey (Melissa) Gregerson and Jordan Schmitt; a sister, Mary Sindt of Grass Valley, CA; and a brother, Kevin (Sue) Schreurs of Rochester, MN.

Preceded in death by: a step daughter-in-law, Pilar Kelly; and a step granddaughter, Maria Kelly.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.
