Biography--

Lillian M. Barron, 94, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, formerly of Waterloo, died Thursday, May 17, 2018 at NewAldaya Lifescapes.

She was born March 28, 1924 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Otto and Elizabeth Gumz Ziemer. She was a 1942 graduate of Waterloo West High School.

She married Edgar L. Barron on December 8, 1949 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua; he preceded her in death on October 18, 1996.

Lillian farmed with her husband for many years. She was a member of Trinity American Lutheran Church. She and her husband enjoyed traveling to Laughlin, NV in their RV.

Survived by: one sister, Dorothy Lind of Cedar Falls, and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; five brothers, Arnold, Helmuth “Dutch”, Kurt and Paul Ziemer and three sisters, Hilda M. Ryan, Marie Olsen, and Esther Larson.
