CEDAR FALLS, IOWA — Rozella A. Gates Williamson, 87, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Pinnacle Special Care.

She was born February 12, 1931, in Brandon, daughter of Arthur and Phoebe (Schonover) Gates. She married Earl Williamson on January 22, 1949, in Cedar Falls. He died July 5, 2010.

She graduated from high school in Hazleton, and worked in housekeeping at the University of Northern Iowa, retiring in 1992.

Survived by: two daughters, Sherry (Larry) Wyant and Brenda (Jeff) Northey, both of Waterloo; two sons, Bruce Williamson of Cedar Falls and David (Connie) Williamson of Burglengenfeld, Germany; Sister Sharon (Keith) Darst, Cedar Falls, 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: her parents, Brother Gerald Gates, Sister: Ruby Shepard, two daughters, Dianna Crane and one in infancy, Cynthia Williamson.

Private family services: will be held in May with inurnment in Greenwood Cemetery, Cedar Falls. Richardson Funeral Service is assisting the family.
