Biography--

Dennis D. Dumler. 69, of Waterloo, died at his home, Thursday, April 12, 2018, of renal cell carcinoma.

Dennis was born August 5, 1948, in Waterloo, the son of Henry and Orphia Meyer Dumler. He married Becky Satterlee on August 25, 1973, in Waterloo.

He Graduated from West High School in 1966 and worked at Henry Standard Station, John Deere until 1985, and then at Bertch Cabinets from 1989 until retirement 2011.

Denny was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. His hobby was woodworking and he made furniture for his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed golf, the Chicago Cubs, helping others, and was a hard working family man.

Survivors include: his wife Becky; son David Dumler of Waterloo; two daughters Debra (Tony) Kisch and Kate Bolick, both of Waterloo; five grandchildren: Morgan and Ellie Kisch, Carter and Bennett Bolick, and Henry Dumler; and brother Gary (Judy) Dumler of Waterloo.

Preceded in death by: his parents, a son Andrew Dumler, grandchildren Andrew and Avery Bolick, sister Sharon Bowling (died Saturday, April 14, 2018), and brother in law Bob Bowling.
